This one is really lousy as it will force you to choose between autographs with Jensen and Jared in his Friday the 13th panel.

On the eve of the opening of Comic-Con ‘08, I have another “Supernatural” update for the fans attending the convention. Unfortunately due to production and travel issues, the Saturday (7/26) 5:00 p.m. autograph signing that had been scheduled for Jensen & Jared has been CANCELLED.

Please note that THIS DOES NOT IMPACT ANY OF SUNDAY’S SCHEDULED EVENTS FOR “SUPERNATURAL.” Both Jensen AND Jared will still be participating in our scheduled panel that day, and Jared is still a part of the “Friday the 13th” panel.

The only thing on Sunday that has changed is that Jensen will now be joining the Producers’ Autograph Signing at 12:30 p.m. in the WB Booth (#4329 – Hall E). However, due to the same issues as above, Jared unfortunately will not be able to participate in any autograph signing at CC this year.


So, to recap:

Sat., 7/26 -NO “SUPERNATURAL” EVENTS

Sunday, 7/27:

11:15 am – 12:15 pm: Supernatural Panel featuring Jensen, Jared, EP/Creator Eric Kripke, Co-EPs Ben Edlund and Peter Johnson and Supervising Producer Sera Gamble (Rm. 6CDEF). It will be moderated by Entertainment Weekly’s Alynda Wheat and will feature exclusive Comic-Con only footage from the 4th season premiere episode, in addition to a portion of the gag reel from the upcoming Season 3 DVD release.

12:30 – 1:15 pm: Supernatural Producers AND JENSEN sign in the Warner Bros. booth (#4329 – Hall E).

**FYI that Jared will also be participating in a panel for “Friday the 13th” in Rm. 20 from 1:00-1:30 pm.

I know we're here on the set of Friday the 13th. But I have to ask some Supernatural questions. When do you guys go back to shooting again?

Jared Padalecki: As of right now, we are supposed to start in the first week of July. Of course the strike is a big issue. But they want to have us paired with Smallville. And Smallville is going to start shooting really early. So they want us to start shooting early, so they can air all of the episodes together.

Have you seen any scripts from the first couple of episodes?

Jared Padalecki: No, uh-uh. I haven't seen anything. Hat's off to Eric (Kripe). The only person I have talked with is Jensen. He and I keep in touch. But we haven't seen any scripts or read any of the scripts. We haven't even heard any of the ideas that they have.

You know that all of the fans are freaking out because they thought Jensen was off the show? But clearly not.

Jared Padalecki: I'm hoping clearly not. I think his plan is to be in Vancouver when I am in Vancouver. I pray to God that he comes back. Because that means every day, all day, there would be no one there to bear the burden except me. But, no, I'm sure that Jensen will be a huge part of the series. Just as he has always been. He's just in Hell this time out.

At some point, Lions Gate cut a deal and I ended up rewriting My Bloody Valentine. It starts shooting May 12th.
First, let’s acknowledge the snotty emails. Yes. My Bloody Valentine is a remake. No. Choosing what movies are and are not made is not up to me. How about we all ease up on poor ol’ Toddly. Yes. I’ve a brainfull of new ideas but Hollywood don’t want original right now. They want safe, name recognizable remakes and sequels. And as much as I hate Corprate Hollywood the numbers don’t lie. The Descent was a grrreat movie. But nobody went to see it. Slither was a grrreat movie but nobody went to see it. That said, between Zane Smith, Patrick Lussier and yours frakking truly, My Bloody Valentine is a grrreat script. And trust me, that’s not been easy. It would be a very safe bet that along the way we have avoided more than a dozen dungbombs lobbed at the story. Welcome to the new Hollywood.

And speaking of dreamy…Jensen Ackles. Good lord. No fella should be that good looking. And that deep voice of his? Swoon. Mel adored him on Smallville, which led to our watching Supernatural where I was introduced to his talent. I like Supernatural. I like him in the show. But I just didn’t expect the performances I’ve been seeing. I guess I was prejudging the good looks. Sue me. We’re all bastards in our own way. Jared Padalecki, uma das estrelas da serie Supernatural, disse aos jornalistas que irá começar a filmar a próxima quarta temporada, em julho, partindo do princípio de que não irá haver greve de actores.

O actor disse :

"A partir de agora - Sim, Eu acho que a greve é um problema enorme", disse Padalecki, em entrevista a um grupo com o conjunto de seu filme Friday the 13th, em Austin, Texas, em 6 de junho. In order of blood spilled, Aaron Yoo just returned to set after a week in the hospital. The fine doctors here split him down the middle and repaired an obstruction in his intestine and now he is sporting 27 staples holding together his abdomen. Not optimal to say the least. Especially considering today?s work required him to fall to the ground out of the back of an Escalade. Yoo is a trooper; he bravely endured the pain that forced him to lie down after he was done to make sure he didn't disembowel himself. In the back of my head I wondered if his insides spilled out should we shoot it and figure out how to work it into the movie. That is how horror movies screw with your head...

They will join Jared Padalecki, Derek Mears and Amanda Righetti in Platinum Dunes' remake of Friday the 13th, which arrives in theaters Friday, February 13, 2009. The remake will focus on Jason Voorhees (Mears) -- who will wear the mask and kill -- and keep the famous setting of Crystal Lake.
