Morgan's proposal also constitutes something of a last laugh for Parker, who was jettisoned by ''Big Fish'' star Billy Crudup for Claire Danes when Parker was seven months pregnant with his son, Atticus.

The unsinkable Parker found love again with Morgan on the set of “Weeds.” Crudup and Danes ended up splitting.

Mary-Louise Parker, who won an Emmy for her role in "Angels in America," and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who won hearts as Denny Duquette on "Grey's Anatomy," called it quits June of last year after a brief romance.
